Wow! The Kalido-sphere is buzzing with excitement these days. Between the recent briefing with the BBBT, the multi-city Qlik to Discover Roadshow with Qlik with just completed stops in Jersey City, Chicago, Philadelphia and Toronto, and the upcoming, much anticipated new release of the Kalido Information Engine, there’s no shortage of news around here.
Our customers, prospects, and partners are all eagerly awaiting this latest release. The engineering team has been busy building out new features based on customer enhancement requests, creating methods for even higher performance loading, and making our Business Information Modeling, Data Warehouse Automation and Master Data Management software even easier to use.
Over the last couple of weeks, the product management team has begun to share many of the new features and functions with a select group of Kalido insiders. This group, along with the Kalido field team from Professional Services and Pre-Sales Engineering, is putting each product through its paces and vigorously testing it out in live exercises with the intent of having a field-proven solution before the official release.
This new release of the Kalido Information Engine Version continues the tradition of Kalido’s customer-driven approach to functional expansion of our product line. The fact is your opinion matters. The innovative ways in which our customers use Kalido continue to drive how we improve our products. Later this spring, we’ll be holding our next Customer Advisory Board session. These open, collaborative forums enable Kalido customers to share ideas and common ground amongst themselves and with a broad Kalido team as well. The high-energy sessions produce innovative ideas helping to shape our product roadmap.
We practice what we preach. Our design and development principles mirror our implementation style, the Kalido Approach – highly collaborative, based on business need, and not a “build it and they will come” approach. So, whether you’ve been current on your Kalido releases, have hesitated in upgrading and remained on past versions, or are just considering Kalido for your first project, this new release is about to make your day.
Stay tuned for release announcements in the coming weeks. If you’re new to Kalido, download the current Business Information Modeler and take it for a test drive. It’ll whet your appetite while you get ready for your first project to begin.
