Magnitude Software Announces Kalido Information Engine Version 9.1

New release provides advanced tools and additional automation to bolster team communication, collaboration and productivity for Kalido Customers

BURLINGTON, Mass., June 23, 2014 – Magnitude Software, a leading provider of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) software, today announced version 9.1 of the Kalido Information Engine. The newest release includes significant functionality enhancements to enable customers to rapidly implement data warehouse and master data management (MDM) solutions while reducing build and operating costs, and diminishing overall project risk.

Version 9.1 provides numerous new functional enhancements including:

  • Enhanced team collaboration and business model management – development teams can more easily work collaboratively with business stakeholders as business models grow in scope and complexity. The Kalido Business Information Modeler component of the Kalido Information Engine now features automatic impact analysis and multi-diagram support that further simplifies large model development and change management.
  • Enhanced optimization of the business and physical models – new features enable developers to more tightly manage the business model and physical schema generated from the model, including improved automation and flexibility to drive the physical layer from corporate naming standards.
  • Finer control over data warehouse migration – a new web-based administration interface and migration assistant makes the migration process from development to production more transparent and predictable, resulting in reduced project risk.
  • Expanded high performance platform capabilities – support for more native data types, further platform-specific SQL optimization and greater precision for storage grants more flexibility to optimize performance and minimize storage needs.
  • Updated user interface for Kalido MDM – version 9.1 includes an updated and more flexible web interface that allows for more efficient navigation, and supports additional web browsers.
  • New MDM applet development service – a new service enables delivery of customized user interfaces and screens to match user profiles and more seamlessly integrate with consuming applications, and expand master data governance participation across the enterprise.

Tiered support model designed to match individual needs of broad customer base

“Our highest priority is helping our customers achieve their information management business goals,” said David Donatelli, vice president of Customer Support at Magnitude Software.  “Our new comprehensive array of technical support solutions along with essential services enables customers to take full advantage of their investment in Magnitude Software products.”

As organizations seek to manage data as an enterprise asset, providing a range of technical support options is critical to ensuring customers can meet the global information management needs of their organization. With this new tiered customer support model, Magnitude Software customers now have the option of selecting more robust support offerings to better support their internal stakeholders.

Magnitude Software’s new support model adds Gold and Platinum support levels and now contains three plans:

Standard – Standard support provides customers with software upgrades and maintenance releases. In addition, supported customers receive 24/7 access to Web-based resources, and online and telephone access to support engineers during normal Monday-Friday business hours.

Gold – Gold support provides additional support contacts and accelerated response time for high priority incidents, in addition to service offering discounts.

Platinum – Platinum support is the highest coverage level available, providing customers with 24/7 service for the highest priority incidents as well as professional services offerings including health checks and best practice advisory services pertaining to implementation, performance, and operations.

Our commitment to enhance, maintain and support existing product lines remains unwavering. We have a full list of Noetix and Kalido product releases scheduled for this year and will continue to create, support and enhance our award winning offerings to ensure our customers are meeting their business goals.

Kalido Information Engine 9.1 (Vigor) is now generally available. Features include collaborative model development, multi-diagramming, MDM UI re-platform, HPP optimization and Dev-to-Production Migration Assistant. Kalido MDM with set-based validation is also on-track for release in the coming month.

NoetixViews 6.4.1 with support for EBS 12.2 and its or Oracle’s Online Patching feature is expected to ship by end of Q2. Noetix Analytics 5.4 with support for EBS 12.2, new content, log-based CDC and other performance enhancements will release later this year. Additionally, Noetix Analytics customers can benefit from using Kalido MDM to help integrate and manage key reference data including customers, suppliers, products and more. Noetix Generator products, Noetix Workbench and Noetix Search are on schedule to ship with the corresponding versions of NoetixViews and Noetix Analytics.

Will there be any changes to my level of service or contacts?

All existing Service Level Agreements and support arrangements will continue without interruption. You will continue to work with the same Noetix and Kalido professionals who have always been committed to your success.

Who should I call for License and Support?

You will continue to work with your current Noetix and Kalido Sales representatives and support contacts. Customers will notice in the coming weeks that communication will start to include the company name Magnitude Software instead of Noetix or Kalido. Please note that your current Noetix and Kalido representatives will also be using this domain name for their email addresses in the near future (@magnitudesoftware.com).
