As readers of this blog are aware, we have frequently discussed a variety of topics related to master data management. Over the course of the last decade we’ve enabled a good number of companies to deliver better reference and master data, across all domains (customer, product, financial, supplier, employee, etc.), and for operational as well as analytical systems. You can read about a few of them here.
Most, but not all, Kalido customers are large enterprises, firms over $1 billion in revenue. Larger firms are often early adopters because they can afford to commit resources to pursuing new ideas to better manage their information. By the same token, midmarket firms – companies with $50 million to $1 billion in revenue – often suffer from the same data challenges as large enterprises, yet they don’t have the resources to pursue an MDM solution. But they share the same characteristics: typically many different operational systems, usually with a mix of on-premises and cloud-based deployments, and an urgent need to be more agile and nimble than their larger competitors.
Here at Magnitude Software we are getting more and more inquiries from midmarket firms about our solution for MDM. Having recently been named a Strong Performer in the Forrester Wave™ for Master Data Management Q1 2016 has further driven an uptick in interest (You can download a copy of the report here, compliments of us!).
In response to this market need, today we’re announcing Magnitude ONE™. Magnitude ONE is a new bundle of our large-enterprise-proven Kalido MDM product, a connectivity solution from Scribe Software to connect to popular applications and interface formats, a specialized customer data matching engine, and online training for all data stewards and administrators. We also offer a “fast start” professional services engagement available from us or from our partners to enable customers to get up and running quickly.
The embedded connectivity from Scribe Software is an important enabler for the Magnitude ONE offering. Scribe has connectors for a wide variety of SaaS and on-premises applications that are prevalent across midmarket companies, with particular emphasis on the Microsoft ecosystem. Coupled with Magnitude Software’s access to and knowledge about Oracle E-Business Suite modules, we are in a unique position to enable midmarket firms to access, integrate, and manage master data that spans a heterogeneous application landscape that includes Oracle E-Business Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce.com, and dozens of other applications and interface formats.
With the Magnitude ONE offering, we are also tackling customer data first. While Kalido MDM is known for its ability to be one tool to cover all master data domains, the focus of Magnitude ONE on customer is important because that is a logical place to start an MDM journey and customer data is something that’s common to all companies, and is critical to most business processes in any enterprise. Of course, if your desire is to tackle product or financial data first – or at the same time – Magnitude ONE can accommodate that too.
We invite you to learn more by checking out the Magnitude ONE page on our website, and contacting us for more information.
